"Jacobaea Vulgaris" Mural
Jacobaea vulgaris, sometimes referred to as St James wort, was used by pilgrims for many centuries, either by eating it to treat stomach pains, or by applying it externally to treat wounds, sores, abrasions, inflammation, etc.
The murals created by Doa Oa as part of the project “A Touch of Colour in Ribeira Sacra” reflect a process she refers to as "Reforesting". They are focused on the natural elements that characterise the local area.
