"Scenes from Monforte" Mural

The artists behind this mural explain that “we have depicted a variety of elements associated with the local area, including a model Mikado 2111 locomotive that used to operate in this region. Since we were working in a place known for its railway, it seemed essential to take a guided tour of the city’s Railway Museum, to make sure we got everything right.

It was an excellent experience. We were treated so kindly by the people there, especially the museum directors Sara and Jose, who looked after our every need. It has been such a pleasure to be able to work in this way.
