Church of San Cristovo de Armariz

Of Romanesque origins and dedicated to Saint Christopher, it appears in 12th century documents.
Today it has a rectangular floor plan with an apse. The opposite façade, the west side, has a Romanesque door with archivolts, half-round moulding, and hemispheres or Avila balls on concave, rounded moulding. The tympanum is plain and the archivolts rest on attached capitals and columns. The façade, with a circular oculus window, is topped by a belfry with two arches. In the apse are some small bays decorated with anthropomorphic, zoomorphic and phytomorphic elements.
