Travesía Centro BTT Ribeira Sacra Parador Santo Estevo - Fábrica da luz

This adventure tour of the Ribeira Sacra MTB Center, belonging to the galician network of centers for mountain bike, allows you to explore the Sil River Canyon, on the border between the provinces of Ourense and Lugo, the main protagonist of this route.

A very demanding ascent crosses the group of houses of the village of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil until reaching the first point of interest located in the Castro de Litoria. We continue along the Ribeira Sacra Nature Trail gaining altitude until reaching the Serra da Meda where a spectacular descent starts towards the Hedrada reservoir in Parada de Sil. From that point the route continues until reaching the edge of the Sil Canyon with very demanding stretches that will sometimes force you to carry the bike to overcome some areas of vineyards built on terraces, known locally as socalcos. In A Fábrica da Luz, at the end of the route, the cyclist will be able to recover his strength by walking along the footbridge of the river Mao, one of the main attractions of nature tourism in the area.
