A Cariza Viewpoint
This is one of the most recent enclaves incorporated into the Ribeira Sacra's network of viewpoints.
This viewpoint was built on a magnificent vantage point over the waters of the Belesar reservoir in the municipality of Taboada. It affords a stunning view of the Miño River between Ponte Mourulle and, downstream, towards the banks of Chantada, Castro Candaz, where visitors come especially to see the ruins emerge as the water level of the reservoir drops.
