Cadeiras Sanctuary
It is believed that the sanctuary was built on a pagan site dating from before the time Christianity arrived to the area.
The construction of the Sanctuary of Cadeiras began in the 18th century but it was never completed. It is however a place of pilgrimage because of the miracles attributed to the Virgin of Cadeiras.
From the top of the tower there are excellent panoramic views and, in addition, the Cadeiras lookout point is just a few metres from the church.
