Montederramo Meat Festival

Montederramo boasts important livestock farms and excellent quality meat. Originating as a livestock festival, it has become an essential culinary fixture for locals from all over the region.
Each year on 12 October, Montederramo prepares a select menu featuring more than 800 kg of veal, served in empanadas, carne ao caldeiro or carne richada.
The festival line-up also includes cultural activities, concerts, a livestock exhibition and craft markets.
