"Magosto (Chestnut Shelling Festiva)l” Mural

The festivities revolve around a bonfire where chestnuts are roasted, along with sausages, etc. The people sit around the fire singing songs and telling stories.

This mural was created by Abraham Caride (Abrah) as part of the project "A Touch of Colour in Ribeira Sacra". It depicts a young boy ready to enjoy his roasted chestnuts, next to a grove of chestnut trees, where the chestnuts can be seen with their protective outer husks.
