Serra de Penas Astronomical Viewpoint

The low light pollution in the area makes this spot an ideal place for stargazing.

The viewpoint is located very close to the other two observation points in the municipality of Bóveda, the Alto do Coto viewpoint and the Serra de Penas viewpoint. There are several wooden structures at the viewpoint specifically designed for leaning back and contemplating the sky.
