Regina Viarum

The family run project Regina Viarum wineries was born in 2001, in the prestigious winemaking area of Ribeira Sacra (Lugo, Galicia) when his founder, Horacio Gómez, find out the beauty of this area during a journey and he delight because of it. It is there where he decides to start a winery project which nowadays is one of the most visited wineries in Galicia.

Regina Viarum is closely linked to “Heroic Viticulture” concept, coined by the winery in 2001, to describe the peculiarities of Ribeira Sacra surroundings and that symbolises the job of the winemakers, ready to challenge the vertigo of the hill side terraces since the 2nd century BC. Authentic heroes of the Sil slopes that manually grow their vines in extreme ground conditions.

A project that offer unique wine tourism experiences in the subzone of Amandi . Its main objective is their visitors to discover the essence of the production of their wines and to enjoy them and a gorgeous view of Sil Canyon from its amazing terrace.
