Virxe do Monte Chapel
The chapel is in the place called Loña do Monte at an altitude of some 930 metres, which gives it some exceptional views of the surrounding area.
It dates from the second half of the 18th century, as the date inscribed on its façade indicates: 1770. Formerly it was in A Eirexa, on the same mountain.
Of particular note in this building is the niche for the Virgin, which is cut into the stone and has three rounded arches.
It is dedicated to Holy Mary and a huge pilgrimage is held on 15th August.
