Church of Santa María de Bolmente

Churches/Chapels

The church is probably originally Romanesque but was completely rebuilt at the end of the 18th century, even though remains of the Romanesque design can be found in the structure of the central nave and other parts of the church.

It has the floor plan of a basilica with three naves and a splendid belfry over the façade. Five plain corbels on the south side of the apse, an arrow-slit window on the main façade and a triumphal arch are what remain from the Romanesque period.
