Church of Santiago de Carracedo

It is in baroque style, although there are signs of constant remodelling. it stands on a small promontory and the entrance is through the north door, as the main façade is behind the cemetery and the priest's house.

There is a coat of arms over the north door, which has a tiled roof over it, and another coat of arms on the north wall. The church’s floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross, but with the unusual feature that the arms are circular and end in a small tower.

Adjacent to the church is the priest's house, a large building which has a coat of arms with the cross of St. James over the window in the main façade.
