From this viewpoint you can see the course of the Miño River in the distance, as well as the French Route of the Way of St James leading towards Santiago de Compostela.
Very close to this strategic point you can also visit the Chapel of Loio, which is a highly significant location in the history of the Way of St James. This is because it is where the Order of St James was founded, which took responsibility for protecting pilgrims and the tomb of the apostle James.
