Sgraffito in Pantón de Arriba (Pantón)
The aim of this intervention was the conservation and restoration of a traditional cladding in the parish of Pantón, in the municipality of Pantón.
An initial diagnosis revealed that the main alterations were disintegration, slagging, deposits, cement mortar, biological colonisation, cracks and detachments.
The intervention involved removing deposits and biological deposits, consolidating disintegration with lime water, adhering displacements, filling cracks and crevices, reintegrating faults with air lime and protecting them with lime paint.
This intervention was part of the project known as the Pacto pola Paisaxe na Ribeira Sacra 2020–2022.
