
Historical Interpretation Centre and School Museum

The old Colegio Santa Leonor comes to be something like the chest of the historical memory of the place. There, many generations of triveses were educated and now it is reconverted on the one hand into a Center for Historical and Cultural Interpretation and on the other, a Museum of Children and Schools. This same building also houses the Library, the Multimedia Classroom, Exhibition Hall and Auditorium.
Historical and Cultural Interpretation Center
It presents this as a trip to the interior of a mountain, but not from a geological point of view, but a historical, cultural and social one. It consists of different rooms:
- Tierra de Fuego: presents the four elements. We will have the possibility to listen to the water or see the fire.
- History: in different suitcases we find the result of the Roman presence, the French, emigration and progress.
- Flora and fauna: their We see the presence through panels and drawings.
- Characteristic elements such as fog and rain are also present. - We will also see the population yesterday and today.
At the end of the tour we have the possibility to see a slideshow on the aspects dealt with, through the image.
Museum of Children and Schools
Museum of private ownership and free, in which we can see a wide sample of what was a school at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
Here we will find copies of comics, ladybugs, cut-outs, textbooks, civility, religion, novels, blackboards, little theater, toys, school supplies, games, pens, maps, bevels, encyclopedias, photos, wallets and a long etcetera that shows us what who were its people and help us understand what they are today.
Visitors can write in a guest book with pen and ink, a new experience for children.
