Leisure space in nature Cachamuiña Reservoir

The banks of this small reservoir, which serves the city of Ourense, have been prepared and equipped with infrastructures to enjoy the charming natural and scenic surroundings. A promenade around the reservoir, children's playground, exercise areas, ample parking, gardens and open-air exhibitions make it an ideal place to relax, get some exercise or simply unwind.

An ideal place for a walk with the family, with your pets or for sport, along a comfortable and flat path almost four kilometres long, covered with Atlantic and Mediterranean vegetation and surrounded by a rich and varied fauna, including the numerous birds that inhabit the reservoir.

It has two large car parks on both banks, a children's playground, a calisthenics park and a bio-healthy exercise park.

The route also includes the Equality Park, a place in honour of the victims of gender violence, and the Bosque de los Recuerdos (Forest of Memories), an open-air art space with works by Toño Monteiro, Ángeles Sioli and Mon Devane.
