Os Peares Railway Museum - Railway Hall

The Railway Hall was conceived as a single space, organised into six thematic blocks.

Visitors will discover an interesting exhibition on the History of the Railway, with special attention to the Os Peares station: infrastructures such as apparatus and track elements, signalling, electrification etc., lampwork (lighting lanterns for locomotives, stations, signalling, etc.).

The collection includes communication elements (switchboards, ticketing, clocks, etc.) and uniforms and is completed with models, toys and art. The main building’s historical canteen now houses a dedicated railway library and organises recreational activities to raise awareness of the history of the railroad.
