The Fervenza de Cachón is one of the waterfalls formed by the Vaos river before it flows into the river Sil.
The Vaos river rises in the mountains at a height of 800 metres and flows down a narrow valley before emptying into the river Edo, which is another tributary of the river Sil.
To reach the waterfall, follow a leafy path flanked by native trees, along which you will find several small waterfalls in a rocky landscape. The Cachón waterfall is at the end of the path and is about 6 metres high. The water falls into a pool before continuing on its way down river.
