MTB - Castro Caldelas Circular

This trail features the ruins of villages of Entrambasaugas and O Rosario and the panoramic views over the Abeleda Valley. At kilometre 3, cyclists can connect with the Circular dos Bosques e Viñas tail and continue along this great circular route of the Ribeira Sacra MTB centre, which links the municipalities of Castro Caldelas and A Teixeira.

The chapel of San Amaro, off the route but well signposted, is located in Valverde. We continue pedalling until we enter the Souto de Poboeiros, once renowned for the excellent quality of its chestnuts and wood. It is a very leafy forest where a gentle ascent begins among centenary chestnut trees that will accompany us until we reach the first houses of the village of Castro Caldelas.
