Serra de Penas Viewpoint
To the east the view is of the peaks of the Courel mountains, to the north-west the Abaixo range and to the north the mountains of Vilarbuxán.
The viewpoint stands as an altitude of 610 metres. From here there is a good view to the north-east over the lower parts of the parishes of Mosteiro, Freituxe, Tuimil, Rubián and Teilán.
The landscape is a mosaic of cultivated land, pasture land and native riverside woods, with birch, alder and willow trees, which adorn the flowing waters of the river Teilán, the Penacoba stream, river Viloria and river Mao, the biggest in the municipality.
