Travesía Centro BTT Ribeira Sacra. A Fábrica da Luz - Parador Santo Estevo

Directions This adventure tour of the Ribeira Sacra BTT Center, belonging to the galician network of centers for mountain bike, allows you to explore the Sil River Canyon, on the border between the provinces of Ourense and Lugo, in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra.
From A Fábrica da Luz you have to face a very demanding start of the route until you reach the village of Barxacova. In Parada de Sil it is mandatory to stop at Balcones de Madrid, an extraordinary viewpoint over the Sil river canyon. The route shares sections with the PR-G 98 and with the Ribeira Sacra Natural Trail through spectacular chestnut forests and small villages always through narrow paths between ancient stone walls. The viewpoints of O Picotiño and Cabezoás are our last opportunities to enjoy the Sil River Canyon in the last kilometers that lead us to the monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil.
