Quiroga's wine fair

The festivity is celebrated on April 3rd and 4th in Quiroga. Not only can you enjoy the appellation of origin of the wines, but also you can acquire typical products from the area.

This festival takes place on Real Street of Quiroga and is one of the most important wine events in Ribeira Sacra. It is traditionally celebrated on April 3rd and 4th, although in 2021 it was postponed to July 24th and 25th. Its first edition was held in 1980, with the poet and writer Uxío Novoneyra being the town crier. As this writer said… Quiroga is a wine, referring to the importance of viticulture in the area.

This event promotes the appellation of origin of the wines of the region, such as Godello and Mencía. In addition, other typical gastronomic products of the area are shown.
